As a native of Liberia and Africa, I see the potential to make a meaningful impact in the lives of so many, especially young people in the area of job creation and providing opportunities to help create their own future.
Through Access Africa, the goal is to partner with local farmers and producers. We will be empowered by collaborating to expand beyond subsistent farming to commercial production of agricultural products including rice, one of the continent's staple foods. The commercial agricultural space as an industry holds the key to ending food insecurity and poverty in Africa. With this in mind, investing in food production will play a transformative role in solving the continent’s biggest challenges.
A lack of access to food is one of the most pressing global issues and is becoming a rampant cause of hunger in Africa. Therefore, the goal of our organization is to partner with local communities by creating large-scale production of food and other agricultural commodities to end hunger, poverty, and human suffering.
